Profile Of Anne Ing Chartered CIPD

I am an HR specialist, with a wealth of knowledge and experience plus a good helping of common sense. Employers and employees present all manner of people issues to be resolved and companies introduce and change structures and policies that affect the way people work and are managed and motivated. My involvement in this has been to ensure constructive and effective outcomes and to provide a sound HR culture for the business.

Starting as a Training Officer for Lloyds TSB, I did everything from writing and delivering courses to abseiling down a mine shaft with management trainees. The next step was to Personnel Officer responsible for resourcing and looking after a team of professionals and administrators. Having gained my spurs, I moved to Northern Foods as a site HR manager for a food manufacturing company gaining experience in employee relations and then I went on to the Rural Development Commission in a similar role but in a very different environment. I met Joy when I joined the financial services company, Skandia Life, and experienced the rapid growth and associated business issues with her. I was delighted to join her consultancy in April 2007.

I have worked in HR for over 25 years and in a number of different industry sectors. Over this time I have gained considerable expertise in:

Disciplinaries and Grievances

HR Policies

Absence problems

Workforce Consultation

Employment Law

Group Training

Recruitment and Resourcing

One to One Coaching

Employment Contracts

Performance Management

Redundancy and Outplacement

Project Management

Job evaluation

Relationship Management

My approach is to work in tandem with the clients, providing expert advice to reach a good business and HR solution.
